Transfers!

Hey everyone! Sorry I don't have a lot of time today but this week was transfers! I am now in Monterrico Ju Juy, with Elder Cañas from El Salvador! Transfer day was pretty interesting because we are reopening this area that has been closed for about 8 months. We got here, and didn't even know where our apartment was hahahha. We also had to buy a phone! We got everything figured out and are now ready to start working!

This area is a super tiny branch in a super tiny city, it will be really fun to try and get the branch excited about missionary work again since it has been closed for a bit. We have already met with a couple members and they are all super excited and ready to help with the work! Members really make all of the difference, its so much easier to find people to teach when they already know a little about the church.

My last week in La Banda was a good one! Had to say goodbye to some of the most awesome people I have ever met. We having been working with a guy who has a lot of problems with drugs and gangs. We have known him for awhile but he has just now shown his interest in changing his life. He has been coming to church and has almost completely stopped smoking in 2 weeks. Its been such a testimony builder to me because he truly is just giving it his all and God is helping him with the rest. If we have a desire, and faith that God can help us he will! We are promised that over and over again in the scriptures. Gabriel really has been trying his best to so his part! He has a baptism date for next Saturday, I'm so excited for him!!

Sorry no pics this week the computer i'm on isn't working very well lol, have a great week!
