Elder Sam Henderson's Argentina Blog

This week has been great! Started out on Sunday I had to give a talk in Spanish in my sacrament meeting of about 70 elders, not too fun hahah but it went well even if I don't know what I said 😉. The talk was about Christs earthly ministry. I had a lot of good help from my district and got a lot of great ideas. The favorite thing I got was what one of the sisters in my district said. We were talking about if when Christ was on the earth, would we be the ones to follow him, or to want to crucify him. We were all saying that we would hopefully be the ones to follow him. She was then like, it doesn't really matter because we will never know. What we do know, is that even though Jesus Christ is not on the earth, we can still choose to follow him every single day through our thoughts, actions, and desires. It was a little rough saying goodbye to our Son and Brother at the airport. But, we are so excited for Elder Henderson's journey as a missionary in Salta Argentina. First up 7 weeks in the CCM.  We LOVE Elder Henderson with all of our hearts. God be with you til we meet again! First week in the mtc was so much fun! Can´t belive it has already been a week! Last Tuesday was probably one of the longest days of my like, getting up at 4am then saying goodbye and flying all the way here to Mexico! Once we got here on Tuesday we had a bunch of orientation type things and I heard a lot of Spanish!  When I first got here I couldn't find my companion so Elder Stong  and I got to hang out for a couple of hours!! It was so nice to see one of my best friends again. I see him quite a bit as well as some other friends!
