New Companion - Elder McCoy

Hey everyone, sorry its been a little bit since I have written but I´m still alive hahah. Last week I got a new companion Elder McCoy from Nampa Idaho. He's a super cool dude and I've known him ever since I got to the mission when we were in the same district. This first week was a little weird because we kinda just thought we were still on divisions hahah but its been fun working with him.

This week has been super good, its finally starting to cool down and there was a bunch of rain this week. This last week one of the members in our branch and her husband who is not a member, got in an accident in their motorcycle on the highway. They said they we going about 50-60 kilometers per hour when they got cut off super bad and crashed. The miracle is, the sister from the branch got thrown from the bike and she ended up about 25 feet away, but, without a scratch. Her husband got pretty cut up but was still pretty good for how bad the crash was. The sister has just started coming back to church and says that she knew it was a miracle and blessing from God that she is alive. On Sunday we were able to give her husband a blessing of health and wow it was such a cool experience. He bore his testimony about how he knew that he and his wife were spared because they have more things to do in this life. Before the accident, he didn't really want to talk with us but now, his heart has been opened. After the blessing, we asked him how he felt, and he talked about the peace that he felt that he's never felt before in his life. It was such an awesome experience and testimony builder for me of the power of the priesthood. I know that the priesthood is the power of God here on earth that he has given us to do good, to help those in need, and to bring souls unto Christ. That is my favorite thing about missionary work, that we get to find these people in most likely the most difficult times of their lives, and help them find peace in Christ. Love you all!
