Hello everyone!! Sorry I didn't get to write last week, we ended up writing late and I didn't get to send an email! But this week was so awesome and Antonio was baptized! His family is so awesome and they have all been members for about 5 years, he finally has got baptized too! It has been so fun to see his wife, and kids because know they have the opportunity to be an eternal family. I love teaching these people and helping them gain the knowledge that they can be with their families forever, I am so grateful for my eternal family! Antonio asked my companion to baptize and asked that I would confirm him. It was a little stressful confirming him in a sacrament meeting of just over 100 people but it was such a good experience and was super excited that I was able to do that. This week was great with finding new people to teach. We found a family of 7! On Thursday we had just had an appointment fall through and we were walking down the street and like 15 little Argenti...

Hey everyone! Another awesome week here in La Banda Del Rìo Salì! This week I went on divisions with one of the zone leaders and we went to a place called "el campo" or, the field hahaha. That's basically all it was! Lots of fields, tall grass and a few shacks. It was super cool, lots of humble people.  This week we tried to focus a lot more on the Book of Mormon with the people that we are teaching! Man do I love that book, It has so much power. My Spanish may not be the best but I always love to testify of the Book of Mormon because the spirit will always testify to them as well! The Book of Mormon is God´s tool for the gathering of his people again, when we share about it, the spirit is always able to teach. I love it also because it comes with a promise. We are promised that if we read the Book of Mormon, and ask God with a sincere heart if it is true we WILL receive an answer. I know this to be true because I have done it for myself. I challenge you all to read t...

This week was HOT here in Rìo Salì! The weather is kind of like Utah, 9 million degrees one minute, then raining the next! Super wild but awesome super fun. The drainage on the streets here is terrible so every time it rains we get rivers in the roads! Super awesome hahaha. My companion and I have been looking at the clouds a ton this week as we are walking and they are awesome. We had another baptism this week! His name is Tiago and he is 9 years old. His family is less active but we are working on getting them back to church. Its been awesome to see the difference in his family when we visit them after they have gone to church, or when they haven't. They are all so much happier and united as a family. We are working with a Family who are so awesome, but they have problems with smoking. This week we have been setting goals with them to be able to stop so they can get ready for baptism. The lady is 59 years old and has been smoking since she was 13. This week she cut her s...

Wow what a great week! This week Andrea was able to be baptized!! It was so cool to be able to help her change her life. She truly is an amazing person and is going to be a great member of the church.  This week was transfers, my comp and I stayed in Rìo Salì but he was made district leader! It will be cool to be able to work with him and to go on splits with the other missionaries in the district. This week I went on splits with the previous district leader, Elder Àvila. He is from Buenos Aires and is such a great missionary. I learned a lot from him especially about being persistent. We contacted a house and the lady wanted nothing to do with us. She was trying to shut the door but he just kept talking. It was actually pretty funny to watch. She reluctantly finally let us in and we found a family of 4 who are interested! Who knows if anything will happen with them but, it really showed me that being persistent can pay off!  I also got to give my first blessing in spa...

Wow what a week! We had a lot of fun this week and saw some miracles. To start it off, we have a lady who we are teaching who loves the church and wants to get baptized, but its really hard for her to come to church. She is a nurse and works 16 hour days, every single day. This week during our visit, she told us that she now has Saturdays and Sundays off from work! It was such a miracle because she has been trying to do this for months. This week we talked about prayer and the power it has. She had never before prayed to ask for help and a way to get Sundays off, this week she prayed and sincerely asked our Heavenly Father to help her with this. The next day, she was about to get her schedule changed. WOW. It strengthened my testimony of prayer so much. I know that if we ask, with faith and real intent God can and will answer our prayers. She is scheduled to get baptized this Saturday! Another miracle was this week we were contacting and it started raining so we were going...
