Hello America!

Another good week here in Argentina! Kind of different, but it was good! This week I had to go to Salta to do paperwork for my visa, and I got to eat McDonald's. Wow. Never would have thought McDonald's could have tasted so good hahah. This week we worked hard to try and find some new people to teach. It was difficult, but we were able to start working with a less active, part member family. The dad and his 9 year old son are not baptized yet. We taught a couple lessons with them this week and they have a strong desire to be baptized, but the parents are not married. They will have to get married. They want too and I know that as we teach more they will gain a stronger desire. They read the Book of Mormon as a family and I know the Holy Ghost will testify to them of the importance of taking this step of baptism.

Not a lot to say this week but I just want to talk about faith. Lately, every time I have read the scriptures I have read stories about people having faith and acting in their faith. First we need to have faith, but that is not enough. We need to act in our faith. We need to pray, read, and DO! I know that as we do these things our Heavenly father is able to bless us.

Quarantine Life!!

Hello, my family and friends! Sorry, it's been a little while, lots have changed since the last time I wrote that's for sure. We have been in a national quarantine here in Argentina for the last 11 days. Sounds fun, right? Hahaha it's been quite the experience but good thing I am here with one of my best buds Elder Watson from St George! The quarantine has been one of the most challenging parts of my mission for sure, but not all has been bad. We have had lots of time to study and reflect back on what the mission is and how it has truly changed us. Last Sunday was quite the rollercoaster of emotions as they told us we would be returning home and I would be released from my missionary service. Kinda hard to describe the sadness and confusion that we went through. Not going to lie, didn't get much sleep that night but one thing that was constantly in my head was that I had done my best.
