Week 2 in the CCM!

This week has been great! Started out on Sunday I had to give a talk in Spanish in my sacrament meeting of about 70 elders, not too fun hahah but it went well even if I don't know what I said 😉. The talk was about Christs earthly ministry. I had a lot of good help from my district and got a lot of great ideas. The favorite thing I got was what one of the sisters in my district said. We were talking about if when Christ was on the earth, would we be the ones to follow him, or to want to crucify him. We were all saying that we would hopefully be the ones to follow him. She was then like, it doesn't really matter because we will never know. What we do know, is that even though Jesus Christ is not on the earth, we can still choose to follow him every single day through our thoughts, actions, and desires. I am so glad I have the opportunity to serve the Lord and show my love to him!

On Tuesday my buddies Elder Johnson and Elder James arrived!! My companion, me, Elder Stong, and his companion were all just sitting there waiting for them to come in hahah. It was really fun to see some of my best friends again! I got to sit by them at the devotional on Tuesday night, and I made them sing in the choir first night hahah.

President Bednar is coming and 

hey have challenged us to read a couple of his talks. I would definitely recommend his talk "Ask in Faith". It talks a lot about the importance of being willing to act on the promptings you receive from the Lord. I know, that if you ask in faith you will receive an answer!
